Action Group FAQs

What is a PGPIRG Action Group?

A student-led collective joined temporarily for the purpose of achieving a particular task, purpose, or program. PGPIRG supports Action Groups in whatever capacity best suits their purpose.

Who can start/participate in an Action Group?

Any PGPIRG Society member may start or participate in an Action Group. As a student-funded society, PGPIRG's membership includes ALL students at UNBC (Prince George campus only).

Non-students are welcome to join the PGPIRG Society by paying the community membership fee. Contact pgpirg@unbc.ca to learn more!

How do I start an Action Group?

Come visit the PGPIRG office at Room 6-342 above the Canfor Theatre! Our Executive Director will be happy to discuss your ideas and provide an Action Group Proposal form.
